1. Packaging Materials: We use strong boxes and cushioning materials such as air bubbles, kraft paper or packing peanuts.
2. Sealing: All boxes are protected with film and sealed with strong adhesive tape and stickers.
3. Reusable boxes: We try to reuse boxes whenever we can to reduce our pollution footprint as much as possible.
4. Repackaging: If you need to change the packaging of your goods, we are here to help you.

Costs, times and shipping options

• Carriers: We only work with trusted and guaranteed carriers, such as DHL, UPS, TNT, Fedex and other locations in each country where we operate.
• Shipping addresses: You can send to the carrier's home or collection point.
• Shipping Costs: Find out about shipping rates depending on the weight, size of the package and the chosen service. You can calculate the shipping costs using the transportation quote.
• Estimated Deadlines:
  • Delivery times vary depending on the carrier and the service selected.
  • On average, shipments from Europe to Switzerland take between 5 to 10 business days.
• Shipping Options:
  • Standard delivery: Economical but with longer delivery times.
  • Delivery with stopover: Combination of couriers with stopover at a warehouse in the network so that you save as much as possible, with longer delivery times.
  • Express delivery: More expensive but guarantees faster deliveries.
• Shipping Insurance:
  • Basic insurance included. In case of incidents, €6.67/kg domestic and €10/kg international will be covered.
  • Optional premium insurance with full coverage starting from the declared value of the package.

All shipments have a tracking number included!

Restrictions and Regulations

• Prohibited Items: There are certain items that cannot be shipped to Switzerland under any circumstances. These include:

• • Hazardous Materials: Explosives, flammables, poisons, dangerous chemicals.
  • Illegal Drugs and Controlled Substances: This includes narcotics and certain over-the-counter medications.
  • Weapons and Ammunition: Including replicas and parts of firearms.
  • Pornographic Material: Any content considered obscene or pornographic.
  • Protected Fauna and Flora: Species in danger of extinction, live animals without the corresponding permits.

• Restricted Items: These items can be shipped to Switzerland, but require special permits or must comply with certain regulations:

• • Medicines: Some medications require a doctor's prescription or an import permit.
  • Food and Beverages: May require health permits, and certain fresh foods are subject to restrictions.
  • Cosmetics and Hygiene Products: Require compliance with health regulations.
  • Cultural Materials: Historical artifacts, works of art, old books may require special permits.

• Declaration of Content and Value
  • Accurate Description: The shipper must provide a detailed description of the items in the package, including quantities and types.
  • Declared Value: It is important to declare the actual value of the items. Underestimating the value can result in fines and delays, while overestimating can increase duties and taxes. You yourself will decide the declared value of your goods.

Customs procedures

• Package Check: All packages entering Switzerland are checked by Swiss Federal Customs to ensure they comply with the country's import regulations.
• Tariffs and Taxes:
  • Parcels with a declared value less than 65 CHF (approximately) are exempt from import duties and taxes.
  • For higher values, a tariff will be applied depending on the product category and the value of the package.
  • In addition, VAT (Value Added Tax) of 8.1% will be charged on the value of the product, including shipping costs.
• Packages from the European Union:
  Although Switzerland is not a member of the European Union (EU), it maintains bilateral agreements with the EU that facilitate trade. Packages coming from the EU are subject to the same customs rules as other non-EU countries. However, it is important to note that, depending on the type of product and value, reduced tariffs or exceptions could apply, thanks to free trade agreements between Switzerland and the EU. This may translate into more agile customs processes for certain goods, but VAT of 7.7% will still be applied to the total value of the package.
• Payment of Tariffs: The recipient must pay the tariffs and the corresponding VAT, which can be managed through the carrier or directly with Swiss customs.Additional Documentation:
  • Some products, such as food, medicines or electronic devices, may require additional permits issued by Swiss authorities such as Swissmedic or the Federal Office for Food Safety and Veterinary Affairs.
• Release Procedures: Once the duties are paid and the correct documentation is provided, the package will be released by customs and delivered to the recipient. 
• Package Tracking: The package can be tracked using the tracking number provided by the courier company.
• Possible Delays: Customs procedures, especially if additional documentation is needed or restricted products are involved, may cause delays in delivery.
