Yes, it is mandatory to declare the contents and actual value of the package. Purchases of up to 50 USD in certified stores (Remessa Conform) are exempt from import tax; Above, the program taxes plus the state ICMS apply.
If the package contains restricted items, such as medicines or food, you will need to obtain additional permits from ANVISA or MAPA.
Everything is taxed, even under US$50: purchases up to US$50 on Remessa Conforme stores pay 20% Import Tax + 20% ICMS (~50% total). Above US$50 and up to US$3,000: 60% with a US$20 discount + ICMS (~75% on a US$100 order). On enrolled stores the tax is paid at checkout. The quoting tool shows the real cost.

Whatever arrives outside the programme goes through traditional inspection and takes longer. Our shipments always travel with the paperwork prepared for the fastest possible clearance.

Because without the recipient's correct CPF the Receita does not clear the parcel: it is the detail that blocks the most shipments to Brazil. Always include it with your delivery address. If you are buying a gift, you need the recipient's CPF.
No: ANVISA prohibits their sale and import and seizure is certain. Do not attempt brand replicas or exotic supplements in quantity either: ANVISA caps them and may require authorisation. For any health product, ask us first.
