Shipping types: courier vs. mail

Choosing the right shipping type makes the difference between "it arrived fast" and "it was cost-effective". At MDE you'll see the options available depending on destination, weight and type of goods.

Courier (express)

• Usually faster delivery with more detailed tracking.
• Recommended for urgent purchases, higher-value products or when you need full traceability.
• It usually costs more and may apply volumetric weight more often.

Mail (economical)

• A cheaper alternative for small, non-urgent shipments.
• Delivery times tend to vary more depending on the country and local processes.
• Tracking available depending on the service/destination, possibly with less detail.

Important: the times shown correspond to international transit and do not include processing, local customs delays or last-mile delivery if local operators are involved.

Services to save money: consolidation (A/B/C) + repackaging

The most direct way to save on international shipping is to reduce volume and optimize packaging. That's why we offer consolidation and repackaging with different levels of reduction.

Consolidation: choose your reduction level

A) Minimal reduction
We keep all outer boxes. If possible, we repack everything into a container box; otherwise, it ships as multi-parcel.

B) Moderate reduction
We keep only the retail packaging. We discard outer boxes and use a container box to unify and protect.

C) Maximum reduction
We keep only product + accessories. We discard all packaging and use a container bag to minimize volume.

Repackaging

When the original packaging is weak, excessive or inefficient, we can reinforce and optimize it to improve protection and cost (depending on the type of goods). This helps reduce volume, avoid damage and adapt the package to the chosen shipping method.

Tracking and support for incidents

Visibility doesn't end when the package leaves the warehouse.

Automatic tracking to your door

• In-system tracking so you can see the status and location of the shipment until final delivery (depending on the service and destination).

Support if a problem arises

• If an incident occurs during international transit, we notify you and help you handle it to minimize delays.

Clarification of lead times

• The estimated transport time corresponds to international transit and does not include processing times, local customs delays or last-mile delivery when local carriers are involved.

1. You send us the product link (or list of products) and your preferences.

4. When it arrives, you choose consolidation and shipping method (courier or mail) and complete the self checkout.
