Yes, always. Barbados' Customs and Excise Department is meticulous on valuation: detailed invoices sail through, unexplained round values raise flags. Declare the real purchase value: obvious undervaluation means retention and penalties that cost more than the tax. We prepare the declaration for you from your invoice.
Several goods need an import licence under the Miscellaneous Controls Act; medicines need a prescription plus health clearance; plants and animal products need agriculture permits.
