Currently, for the first 12 annual purchases not exceeding USD 50, the buyer is exempt from paying import duties; if the value exceeds USD 50, 50% is paid on the excess. The government is evaluating expanding the current USD 50 allowance per shipment to align it with the new conditions of the courier regime, seeking to simplify and speed up the process for consumers.
