In 2026, MDE evolves to serve an increasingly common customer profile: businesses and individuals who no longer just want to “get a shipment sorted” but to operate with a system. More options, more automation, more traceability and a self checkout that guides you from choosing the carrier all the way to payment, with the level of control you need as your volume grows.
Below is the full rundown of new features and functions that are already available.
What's new in 2026
Physical Spanish SIM, in your name and ready to use
You can now request a physical Spanish SIM with genuine ownership in the customer's name. It is activated in Spain so that you receive it ready to use, letting you use it as a local number from day one. More information here.
Ideal for:
Signing up with banks and platforms that require a Spanish number.
Accounts and verifications on apps such as Vinted and Wallapop, among many others.
Everyday use with SMS and apps such as WhatsApp.
Pallets: shipping for high-volume operations
You can now manage pallet shipments when your cargo no longer fits in traditional packages. A service designed for businesses and recurring operations, with handling tailored to volume and logistics coordination. A sales advisor is available to quote your operations, book a free appointment now!
International containers: FCL and LCL
We are adding full containers (FCL) and shared containers (LCL) for import and export. A solution designed for sourcing, restocking and international expansion at scale. A sales advisor is available to quote your operations, book a free appointment now!
Perfume shipping from Spain
As a new feature, we are enabling perfume shipping from Spain, with a workflow set up to reduce incidents and make for an orderly dispatch.
MDE API: integrate your logistics with your system
The API is now available so you can quote and schedule your shipments directly from your own software. This lets you automate operations, reduce manual tasks and scale without relying on one-by-one processes.
Automatic tracking: full visibility all the way to your door
We have activated automatic tracking of the package all the way to its final destination. From your account you can see the status and location of the shipment within the system.
If any incident occurs during international transit, we let you know and help you resolve it to minimize delays and avoid hold-ups.
Goods pickup
We handle the pickup so you don't have to rely on the supplier delivering to the warehouse. Useful when you buy from multiple sellers or need to standardize how goods come in.
Third-party delivery/pickup at pickup points
For carriers or sellers that do not deliver to the warehouse, we offer pickup at pickup points where applicable, avoiding logistics hold-ups.
Supplier verification
Supplier verification service to reduce risk in sensitive or B2B purchases: prior validations that help avoid mistakes before the shipment gets under way.
Arrival notice + fast search if check-in is missing
When the package arrives at the warehouse, you will receive an arrival notice. If for any reason it is not registered automatically (check-in), you can start locating your package immediately to cut down on uncertainty.
Content inspection
We are adding content inspection to improve control before dispatch: visual checks, detection of inconsistencies and support with incidents before the shipment leaves.
Consolidation 2026: choose the level of reduction to match your purchase
To optimize volume and cost without losing control, you can now choose between three levels of consolidation. This way you decide whether you prefer to keep the packaging, reduce the size or minimize it as much as possible.
A) Minimal reduction (keeps outer boxes)
All outer boxes are kept. Where possible, we repack into a container box. If not, the shipment is handled as multi-package.
B) Moderate reduction (keeps retail packaging)
The retail packaging is kept and outer boxes are discarded. A container box is used to unify and protect.
C) Maximum reduction (product + accessories only)
Only the product + accessories are kept. All packaging is discarded and a container bag is used to minimize volume.
Guided self checkout: from carrier selection to payment
The flow is designed so you move forward clearly from choosing the carrier to paying, with simple requirements depending on the destination:
Shipments within Europe: you choose the carrier and can pay directly.
Shipments outside Europe: you complete the customs proforma inside the package (a quick process). Once you submit it, payment is enabled to finish the self checkout.
Review happens afterwards. If we spot any problem, we will contact you before the package leaves.
New payment methods: more flexibility
To make recurring operations and business payments easier, you can now pay with:
Wallet: top up your balance (with any card or by transfer) and pay quickly from your account.
Bank transfer: ideal for businesses, scheduled payments or higher-volume operations.
