The good news: <strong>you still don't pay VAT or ICE<\/strong>, so it continues to be much cheaper and more agile than a formal import.<\/p><h2>The categories of courier imports in Ecuador<\/h2><p>Knowing which category your package fits into avoids delays and unexpected costs:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Category A (documents):<\/strong> papers with no commercial value. You do not pay taxes.<\/li><li><strong>Category B (4x4):<\/strong> personal use, up to 4 kg and USD 400.
